Assemblies / Awards

School Assemblies are held fortnightly on a Friday in terms 1, 2 & 3. On the alternative week a whole school singing practice is held. Each year level is rostered for an assembly. At each weekly gathering ( singing practice/assembly) students are presented with awards. There are two awards for each class every week, one being a Teachers Award and the other a Principals Award. Aussie of the Month presentations are made at the end of each month.

Newsletters / Term Dates

Each family receives a Newsletter every Thursday. This newsletter provides parents with information about current and future school events. Also included are names of award recipients for the following days assembly.

At the commencement of each term a list of tentative term dates is forwarded home outlining events to take place throughout the term. These dates are confirmed in the weekly Newsletter.

Canteen

The school Canteen operates each day of the week. The school has a Manageress and volunteer assistance.

School Banking

Children are able to access a school banking service which is offered by the Catholic Development Fund. Banking is completed each Tuesday.

Written Notification

Parents are required to provide written notification to the respective class teachers in the following situations:

• Student absence
• Students not wearing correct uniform
• Students arriving late for school unaccompanied by a parent
• Students not participating in class or school activities
• Students leaving school prior to normal conclusion time
• Students being withdrawn from school for an extended period of time
